Our Environmental Emergency Response Planning and Drills Workshop is aimed at providing environmental and other industry workers with a review of applicable legislation where Emergency Response Plans are required, and the requirements for each of the plans.
Our first Webinar is an overview of the Federal Fisheries Act, where we review what types of industrial activities that can trigger the Act, how to remain in compliance, and looking into the future with the 2019 amendments.
Our second webinar, Aquatic Surveys provides a summary of what aquatic studies are, why they are required, timing of studies, and the various types of studies that exist.
Benthic Surveys-in the Field will be a full day, consisting of theoretical background on benthic macroinvertebrate surveys, followed by hands-on practice with sampling methods as per industry standards such as OBBN and OSAP.
