This half day course will provide an introduction to Environmental Compliance in Ontario. This includes an overview of applicable Federal and Provincial Environmental regulations, Environmental Permitting Requirements, Waste Management, and Enforcement of Environmental law. Case studies from Northern Ontario industries will be included.
Our Environmental Monitor Workshop aims to provide training for field monitors responsible for collecting environmental data related to mining activity in Ontario.
Our 2-day workshop provides a review of environmental regulations in Canada and Ontario, as it applies to each participant’s site, and then provides hands-on exercises to practice auditing and identify gaps that need to be addressed.
