Environmental Emergency Response Planning is heavily regulated in Ontario. A well organized and risk-based Environmental Emergency Response Plan (EERP) provides a mechanism for ensuring that sites are ready for environmental emergencies, while maintaining provincial and federal compliance with all applicable regulations related to environmental emergencies.
This online 6-hour training course is intended to provide students with the knowledge and tools for effectively planning and preparing for environmental emergencies at industrial facilities. A focus is placed on risk-based planning, while ensuring provincial and federal legislation is met. Tools will be provided to assist in planning and coordinating Environmental Emergency spill drills. The course includes practical exercises in on-line breakout sessions.
