Posting a master calendar in a work area can function as a helpful tool to ensure people stay on top of their scheduled responsibilities. It also serves as a compliance tool in preparation for inspections and audits, or when planning submissions of regulatory reports.

This session will review the major reporting dates in the calendar year for the Ontario regulations as well as applicable federal regulations in mining, forestry, or other resources industries that are applicable.

SERENA MAKI - TRAINING COORDINATOR

Serena Maki, Training Coordinator, has over 10 years of managing environmental compliance systems at a number of mining operations in Ontario. She additionally has 10 years in environmental toxicity laboratory experience. Ms. Maki graduated from Canadore College from the Environmental Biology Technology program, completing an internship with the Ministry of Environment and Energy’s Toxicity Laboratory.
