Participants will explore different waste management practices typically used in construction and operations phases of projects. Hazardous and Non-hazardous waste management practices will be discussed. Regulatory requirements will be reviewed.
Participants will learn how to use a GPS unit, and then plot points and other saved data onto Google Earth, then how to take Google Earth points and transfer those onto the GPS unit. This training includes theory as well as a field component where participants can practice navigating and mapping using GPS units and laptops.
