Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph and brings over 15 years of experience in regulated industries, including mining and manufacturing. Her background spans environmental compliance, permitting, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
At Blue Heron, Natalie supports environmental management systems, coordinates permitting initiatives, and works closely with regulators and project teams to help clients meet compliance requirements with clarity and confidence.
Serena Maki, Lead Trainer at Blue Heron Environmental, brings over 25 years of experience in environmental compliance, monitoring, and training within Ontario’s mining industry. Her technical background, coupled with extensive teaching and mentoring experience, strengthens our ability to support clients, communities, and environmental professionals across the province.
Kathy-Lynn Morrish, Environmental and Indigenous Community Support Specialist, brings over 15 years of experience in environmental compliance, permitting, training, and field monitoring. She supports both industry and Indigenous communities through technical expertise, meaningful engagement, and a strong understanding of environmental stewardship.

Meet Andrew Doyle, Compliance and Technical Dept. Manager at Blue Heron Environmental. Since joining the company in 2010 as a technician, Mr. Doyle has played a pivotal role in advancing environmental initiatives across Northern Ontario. His expertise spans water monitoring programs, hydrology assessments, and broadscale netting, contributing to numerous baseline and ongoing mining projects. Meet Michel Huck, Environmental Technician, a 2022 addition to our Blue Heron Environmental team.
Mr. Huck comes from a geological and assay laboratory background with nearly 10 years of experience working in the mining industry. Michel has experience working in different sectors of the environmental field including assaying, geology, mining and construction. Mike is experienced in environmental monitoring, surface and groundwater monitoring.
