In Canada, working outdoors during the winter requires a considerable amount of preparation. The northern Ontario climate present challenges that call for added attention to safety when considering warmth, remoteness, and hydration.

During this session, students will learn best safety practices for winter fieldwork as well as tips and tools to use when preparing for your next outing, while also following industrial site requirements.
