GET TO KNOW DREW LAMPMAN
I met Linda Byron, Pam Powers and Serena Maki from Blue Heron while participating in the Ontario Mining Association Environment Committee around 2006.
I enjoy the wide variety of environmental projects from permitting and closure plans, auditing to developing operation manuals which help our clients to improve their performance and reduce their risks.
Management systems do not need to be complicated. The best ones are the simplest, easy to implement and follow.
My first job during high school were officiating recreational sports like hockey, soccer and softball. Lots of rules to know just like EHS.
During the summer I worked in construction for a small electrical company installing underground utilities and restoration landscaping. Reading drawings and specifications to build what the owner needed.
Either master Excel or wheelie my bicycle.
A good motto for continuous improvement.
“If you know there’s something wrong
Why don’t you right it”.
Ra McGuire, Trooper
Learn to whitewater kayak. I have gone rafting and canoeing already.
There are so many excellent provincial parks in Ontario, but the Madawaska River is probably my favorite.
