Inspiring the Next Generation

Blue Heron Environmental was honoured to be invited to Roland Michener Secondary School to connect with students and share insights into environmental careers and the important work happening across our region. Our team members, Kara Gauvreau and Pamela Powers, joined a representative from Discovery Porcupine to discuss roles in environmental protection, conservation practices, and biodiversity initiatives within the mining industry.

BHE and Discovery Porcupine join to discuss environmental careers, conservation, and biodiversity with local students.

The students’ engagement, curiosity, and thoughtful questions made the session truly rewarding. Their interest in environmental stewardship  reminds us that the future is in capable hands.

We extend our sincere thanks to the staff and students at Roland Michener Secondary School for welcoming us into their classroom and for fostering such meaningful discussions. Blue Heron is always proud to support educational outreach and inspire the next generation of environmental professionals.
