    Internal environmental auditor training helps environmental practitioners to determine whether their operations are in compliance with Federal and Provincial environmental regulations.

    This two-day workshop provides a review of environmental regulations in Canada and Ontario, as it applies to each participant’s site, and then provides hands-on exercises to practice auditing and identify gaps that need to be addressed.

    This training session aims to illustrate meaningful approaches to consultation between Indigenous Peoples and Industry and demonstrate some tools that can be used for engagement.

    Participants will be made aware of diverse values and ways of thinking, the importance of developing relationships, and identify ways of bridging the gap between TEK and western science.
