3 Employees Join Blue Heron
We are pleased to announce that we have hired three new professionals at Blue Heron Environmental to better meet the needs of our expanding client base.
We’re increasing the capacity of both our Biological and Management Systems and Auditing departments to face the growing demand for our services. We’re excited about the experience that these new employees bring, and look forwarding to the challenges ahead in 2021.

JESSIKA O. HEINEMAN
Environmental Project Manager
Jessika joins Blue Heron’s Management Systems and Audit Department, and brings a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree, and a minor in Physical Geography, specializing in resource management and hydrology. Ms. Heinemann started off working in Environmental Compliance for industry, before working in the private, engineering consulting sector for 8 years as an Environmental and Hydrogeological Specialist.
Biologist – Project Manager
Josie-Ann is a terrestrial biologist with 8 years of experience in ecological sciences. Her focus is on species at risk, plant community classification, desktop screenings for species at risk and natural heritage features, data management, and technical writing.
Senior Project Manager
Ken MacIntosh brings considerable environmental knowledge and experience associated with industrial development activities such as mining, highways and other corridors in northern Ontario. Ken has worked in the field of forestry and biology managing and conducting environmental assessments for 30 years.
