Our short course offers an introduction to the International Cyanide Management Code for gold mining operations. The objective of this training event is to provide gold mine operations an insight into the Code, what is required to implement and adhere to the Code, the audit and certification process.
Our Environmental Monitor/Technician Workshop aims to provide training for field monitors responsible for collecting environmental data related to mining activity in Ontario.
Participants will learn how to use a GPS unit, and then plot points and other saved data onto Google Earth, then how to take Google Earth points and transfer those onto the GPS unit. This training includes theory as well as a field component where participants can practice navigating and mapping using GPS units and laptops.
