GET TO KNOW BRENDAN FAYKES
I first heard of Blue Heron while working a previous job. They were contracted to do project management and EHS work. During this time, I was lucky enough to work with Blue Heron personnel and learn about their operations.
My favorite part of being an environmental compliance consultant is the opportunity to network and meet other professionals in the industry.
I am looking forward to seeing where this position takes me.
We’re friends, not foes! We are here to collaborate and help the industry run optimally while ensuring the land is respected and maintained.
My first job was washing and detailing cars for a local business.
If I could pick up any new skill it would be Japanese wood joinery.
I run a custom woodworking business, and this is something I have always admired for the precision and attention to detail. The perfectionist in me is envious.
“When nothing goes right, go left”
I would love to have the chance to visit the Pacific Northwest. It’s definitely on the bucket list.
In 2018, I went on a field research trip to Patagonia. My peers and I travelled by boat along the southwestern region of Chile, exploring the coastline.
The dramatic mountain ranges, glaciers, rivers, and abundance of wildlife is a nature lover’s paradise. The region is truly like no other.
