WEBINAR | Winter Environmental Emergencies

Dec 15 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

$40

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2015 | 10am EST

Imagine this scenario. It’s 2am in February and you get a call from the work site stating that the power is out, and the pH at the final effluent discharge has fallen from 7.0 to 6.6 in the last half hour. Or this scenario. It’s -40C in January. There’s been a break in a water line, and there are sampling requirements at various locations for TSS every 3 hours. The locations are only accessible via snow machine 20km into the bush.

In both situations, you are expected to get to site to monitor, repair, or maintain certain levels. Are you prepared for several hours of work outside? Join us for this one hour talk to discuss a safety field plan, personal preparedness as well as site preparedness during the harsh winter conditions.
