Our Aboriginal Environmental Monitor Workshop program is running its second intake of the year after a very successful workshop in June 2015 . We received great feedback on our June offering, and adjusted the agenda to increase the hands-on portions and hours in-the-field to provide more practical supervised exercises.
The workshop is designed to provide training for field monitors hired by industry to monitor environmental management practices at mining operations in Ontario.
The course will focus specifically on fieldwork monitoring techniques for Water, Soil and Air. It includes both a classroom and field component, where participants will learn firsthand how to collect, record and interpret information needed to fulfill the job requirements of an Environmental Monitor.
