The purpose of the workshop is to provide the participant with applicable information that pertains to Environmental Management for various stages of a Mining project, from Advanced Exploration to Closure. Topics covered will include:
- Applicable legislation for the Mining industry in Ontario;
- Closure Plan requirements, including Indigenous Consultation practices;
- Permit requirements for Mining, and their interpretation;
- Environmental Emergencies and Response Plans;
- Waste Management;
- Environmental Monitoring Plans; and
